27. Sharing experiences: Passivhaus Trust Open Days

Every year, Passivhaus buildings open their doors to visitors, sharing knowledge and experience. The EcoBungalow had an open day last year, when it was very much still a building site. This year is an opportunity to find out what it's like to live in a Passivhaus, and what it takes to retrofit a building to create one.
The EcoBungalow isn't certified: we aimed for AECB as a minimum, and EnerPHit as out ideal. In the event our air tightness exceeded expectation at 0.2 ACH - better than Passivhaus new build! It's a great case study of how to make an ordinary home highly energy efficient and very comfortable to live in. Slots can be booked via Eventbrite:
